Therapy with Tara

Succesful on the Outside, Struggling on the Inside
Life can look successful from the outside while feeling overwhelming on the inside. You may be managing a demanding career, caring for your family, navigating a difficult relationship, or facing a major life transition, yet still feel anxious, emotionally exhausted, or disconnected from yourself.
For over 30 years, I have helped adults and college-age individuals navigate life's challenges with compassion, insight, and practical support. Whether you're experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, stress, or uncertainty about your next chapter, therapy offers a place to slow down, gain clarity, and move forward with confidence.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and personalized. I believe meaningful change happens when you feel truly heard, understood, and supported. Together, we'll identify what's keeping you stuck, build on your strengths, and help you create a life that feels more balanced, fulfilling, and authentic.
You don't have to have everything figured out before reaching out. Sometimes the strongest step you can take is asking for support.
My Experience
I tailor my approach to each person’s unique needs, integrating evidence-based techniques to foster deep understanding and lasting change. My goal is to create a collaborative, compassionate environment where healing and growth can thrive.

Therapeutic Approach - Over three decades of practice have taught me that the most effective therapy combines a strong therapeutic relationship with approaches that are thoughtfully tailored to each individual's needs.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to identify and change unhelpful thought patterns and develop healthier coping strategies.
Psychodynamic Therapy to explore how past experiences and relationships influence current thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.
Strengths-Based Therapy to build on your resilience, personal values, and existing strengths.
Solution-Focused Therapy to help you identify practical steps toward your goals and create meaningful change.
Supportive Therapy to provide guidance, encouragement, and a safe, nonjudgmental space during life's challenges and transitions.
I offer online therapy services for clients who prefer the convenience and privacy of virtual counseling. Online therapy can be a great option for clients who live in remote areas, have mobility or transportation challenges, or prefer to work from the comfort of their own homes.
My individual therapy sessions are tailored to meet the unique needs of each client. I provide a safe and confidential space for you to explore your emotions, thoughts, and behaviors. Together, we will work towards achieving your goals and improving your overall well-being.

“As a teen, I never wanted to go to therapy. After talking to Tara she showed me what I could really do with my life and I will forever be grateful for not only how much she helped and believed in me but how much she helped me believe in myself. Thank you, thank you, thank you for everything Tara"

"Tara Molinari is an outstanding therapist. She assisted both my daughter while attending college, and my son during high school, navigate through challenging issues in a warm, competent, and insightful manner. She is straightforward in her address yet has a disarming approach that facilitates a therapeutic environment for discussions to unfold. She's simply the best and so grateful for her counsel."

“Having been to several therapists, it can rapidly become apparent that they may be crazier than I think I am. They are after all just people and it is hard for me to open up and trust. I have seen Tara for many years, even when times were good. She has talked me off "the ledge" many times. During calmer times, we have made significant progress in areas that troubled me. I can never imagine going to anyone else. She is experienced, empathetic, wise, trustworthy, and never blurs the lines.”
